Dr. Kevin F. Darr is driven by a passion for advancing orthopedic medicine and improving patient outcomes through innovative clinical and surgical treatments. His passion for becoming a doctor stemmed from a desire to help cure, treat and prevent orthopedic and musculoskeletal ailments. As a double board-certified physician, Dr. Darr is known for his compassionate care style, which emphasizes personalized, evidence-based approaches to ensure each patient receives the most effective treatment tailored to their individual needs. Dr. Darr proudly offers cutting-edge treatments backed by extensive research and evidence-based practice.
Following his residency, Dr. Darr set his roots in Covington, Louisiana, 30 years ago and since been a key provider at Covington Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute, serving both the Covington and New Orleans market. He is a respected figure in the Louisiana’s medical community, with a reputation for his excellence locally and nationally.
As a national leader in orthopedic medicine and surgery, Dr. Darr is renowned for his expertise in cellular therapy and alternative treatments for orthopedic conditions. His significant contributions include numerous IRB-approved research studies and the training of fellow physicians in these advance techniques. His work is highly esteemed, and he is frequently sought after for his insights and innovative approaches.
In his personal life, Dr. Darr is married and has seven children and one grandchild. He enjoys gardening, exercising, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking, traveling, and spending time with his family.
